Olga Arara-Kimani

Kenya Country Manager, Google 

As Google Kenya's Country Manager, Olga acts as one of its regional leads as well as the voice of the local Kenyan user. She has vast experience in engineering combined with strong commercial and marketing knowledge with several years experience in marketing and product management gained in the Telecommunications, Retail and IT industries.

Olga was formerly a senior executive at Safaricom.  She holds an MBA in Engineering Business Management from Manchester Business School, B.Sc. Electrical & Electronics Engineering and is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer.

She was recently named one the Top 40 under 40 Women by Business Daily Kenya, a list that ranks successful and upcoming career women who are expected to dominate the corporate and professional scenes in the next couple of decades.  In August 2011, Forbes Magazine also named Olga one of The Top 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa.

Olga is married with two children, and in her free time is involved in mentoring young and vulnerable girls and Women in Technology.  As a hobby, Olga is experimenting with small-scale farming using new sustainable methods that can be scaled to alleviate food insecurity.
